Where did the name Little Johnny, LLC come from? In special education, when a presenter is giving an example of a situation, they typically refer to the student as “Little Johnny." Since our company aims to provide quality services to all students, especially at-risk students, we chose a name that honors difficult to reach students! We want to Be The Example of how to better serve students by thinking “outside of the box,” working as a team, and not being afraid of change.
Our team provides services to school districts through three different models: staffing, PRN services, and our unique lean staffing model.
Our team offers psychoeducational and speech language evaluations to families at our Lexington office.
Our Projects of Love program provides funding to initiatives aimed at improving outcomes for students with disabilities.
We have been working with Little Johnny since this past summer. We are more than pleased with the services provided. They are very professional, excellent to work with, and provide a number of "as needed" services. For example, we needed an evaluation completed in Spanish and they met that need in a timely manner. I am so happy to have this resource. ~ Kathy Bernard, Director of Special Services, Abbeville Co. School District
Dr. Ann Marie Taylor, 2008 SC Teacher of the Year and former Director in Edgefield County said, “Little Johnny has been a JOY to work with. All the therapists have been professional and have gone above and beyond to meet our needs. We could not be happier!”
Ms. Amy Hildenbrand, Director in Greenwood 50, “We have been very pleased with the professionalism of our psychologists. Little Johnny has been a wonderful partner in meeting the needs of our students.”
Mr. Tarry McGovern, Director in Kershaw, “At the beginning of the school term, we were in need of a qualified school psychologist to assist us at several schools within our district. Little Johnny was there to assist. I worked with Dr. Harbert to identify a school psychologist who could meet our needs and we were provided with the assistance needed. The school psychologist assigned to our district is knowledgeable, a team player and someone who immediately integrated with our current staff. We have been very pleased with both the onboarding process and the assistance that Little Johnny has provided us.”
Mrs. Wendy Stoudemire, Director in Newberry County School District, “We have been very impressed with ALL aspects of our work with Little Johnny. From our initial contact to request assistance with a psychoeducation evaluation in Spanish to receiving the reports in a timely manner, Little Johnny has far exceeded our expectations. It is nice to have a local option to assist our needs.”
Ms. Ginger Hopkins, Special Education Evaluator, I've wrapped up my meetings with your team so it seems like an appropriate time to write and tell you how impressed I have been with Stephanie, Jeanie, Linda, and you. I was pretty apprehensive about this collaboration after my beginning of year experiences with another company, but thanks to you and these folks, I have developed the utmost confidence in your team's performance, professionalism, flexibility, and spirit of collaboration. You all did whatever was needed to get the job done and turned reports around in a matter of days and sometimes hours. When I scheduled and rescheduled meetings, you kept juggling your schedules to make them work. Every interaction I had with you folks has been positive and collaborative. And, most importantly, I think we've helped a whole bunch of kids, their parents, and their teachers.
